From the beginning, the Board of Education has always been committed to reaching a fair and meaningful compensation package that recognizes the value of our educators and supports their needs. At the same time, we have a responsibility to ensure the compensation we agree upon is sustainable and protects the long-term financial health of our District and the educational opportunities we provide our students.  We said that if state funding conditions improved, we would revisit our position, and we honored that commitment.

We know this has been a long and, at times, difficult process. But, we want our certificated staff to know that we value and appreciate you.

We are pleased to share that the Corona-Norco Unified School District and the Corona-Norco Teachers Association have reached a tentative agreement. This agreement reflects what we have been working toward all along: providing meaningful compensation for our educators while making a responsible and sustainable commitment to the future of our District.  While the agreement remains subject to ratification by CNTA and approval by the Board of Education, we are pleased to have reached this important milestone.

As we move forward, we are committed to continuing to listen, communicate openly, and work together in support of our educators, our students, and our community.
